I think food might be one of my love languages. I enjoy baking and cooking foods that make my body feel good as well as feeding those I love nutrient dense, healing foods. I’m a die hard chocolate lover and usually eat it in some form every day it seems! Did you know that dark chocolate (minus the sugar and additives) can be a great source of antioxidants and part of a healthy diet?
I believe that spending time preparing food for ourselves is a foundational part of health and self care. It’s always a treat to eat out, but for me it’s definitely the exception, not the rule. I spend a lot of time in the kitchen!
Eating well doesn’t have to be complicated or fancy — it’s quite easy to whip up a sheet pan meal or batch cook veggies so they’re ready when you need them. A super easy way to boost nutrients is to generously use fresh herbs & spices!
